Prepare a room before painting
Move furniture away from the walls and protect the floor. Clean surfaces and let them dry. Remove loose paint, fill small cosmetic holes with a suitable filler, and sand once fully dry. Remove dust and use primer where the paint or surface requires it. Check the product instructions for drying and recoating times.
Stop and seek advice if you find damp, recurring cracks or suspect older hazardous coatings. Keep sanding dust controlled and ventilate the room.
Plan made-to-measure shelving
Measure the width, height and depth of the available space in several places. Note skirting boards, doors, sockets and access needs. List the items you want to store and their approximate weight. Photograph the space and sketch the layout before choosing shelf sizes and materials.
Wall fixings depend on wall construction and loads. Check for concealed cables and pipes before drilling; get professional help if unsure.
Style an artificial plant and decorative pot
Check the complete plant-and-pot dimensions against your space. Choose a level position away from heaters and busy walkways. Shape stems gently according to the supplier’s instructions and keep the arrangement stable. Dust regularly with a soft cloth, and use outdoors only if the product is specifically rated for it.

Delivery, orders & returns
The 90cm palm is £44.99 including standard delivery to eligible UK postcodes. Standard delivery is estimated at 2–3 working days after dispatch. Supplier dispatch is normally within one working day after cleared payment, subject to stock. Times are estimates.
Payment for the 90cm palm is processed securely by Stripe. We review paid orders manually and arrange delivery through our supplier. Other products currently require an enquiry before payment. No supplier order is placed automatically.
Remote postcodes — contact us before paying
Additional delivery charges apply per product. Request a final total before payment for: AB31–AB38, AB40–AB56; IV1–IV28, IV30–IV32, IV36, IV40–IV49, IV51–IV56, IV63; KW1–KW17; PH4–PH44, PH49–PH50; PA20–PA38, PA41–PA49, PA60–PA78; KA27–KA28; all HS, ZE and BT postcodes. Isle of Man and Channel Islands (IM, GY, JE) also require a separate quote. Trees over 200cm cannot be supplied to these locations.
Cancellation and returns
For a change-of-mind cancellation, contact us within 14 days of delivery, then return the item within a further 14 days. Contact us for the return address before sending anything. You pay change-of-mind return postage. We refund the item and standard outbound delivery charge, where charged, within 14 days of receiving the return or evidence of posting, whichever is earlier. A deduction may apply for handling beyond what is needed to inspect the item. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
For damaged, faulty or incorrect goods, contact info@mianenvironment.co.uk with your order reference and details, with photos where possible. We will arrange an appropriate remedy and cover necessary return postage for confirmed faults or incorrect items.
Payment and order privacy
Stripe processes your payment and collects your delivery details. MIAN ENVIRONMENT uses your order details to manage your purchase and shares necessary information with Leaf Dropship and delivery providers to fulfil it.
